There are a number of organizations offering volunteer opportunities that will help you gain confidence and skills that you need to get a job. Choose an opportunity that will give you a chance to develop one of the skills you want to learn.
- Review volunteer job boards including the CLN Volunteer job board, which may contain research or other on-campus opportunities, or Charity Village and Volunteer Toronto for community opportunities.
- Review opportunities through the Centre for Community Partnerships, a department that connects students with opportunities to take action and learn from community-based experiences. Participate in a Community Action Project to get involved over a period of four to 10 months or pursue a shorter, intensive opportunity through an Alternative Reading Week.
