Understanding your strengths, expectations, opportunities and challenges can help give you the control and knowledge you need to build momentum in your job search. With these steps you will understand what resources you have to launch yourself into your career.
- Explore the meaning of ‘Career’ in your life, by considering your skills, interests, personality and values.
- Look at Career Planning models through the Career Planning e-book collection.
- Weigh the career planning models against your decision making and planning style.
- Make a plan that includes all of the actions or steps that will lead you to your career goal. Arrange these steps chronologically or in a manner that makes sense for you.
